Ruby Star BMW M3 Competition | Full Front PPF & Ceramic Coating
This BMW M3 Competition came to Maverick Detailing in Byron Center wearing BMW Individual Ruby Star (NEO) paint and fitted with M Carbon bucket seats. We protected the front end with clear paint protection film and ceramic coated the exterior, right down to the inner wheel barrels and brake calipers.
Full Front Paint Protection Film for the Ruby Star Finish
We installed clear paint protection film (PPF) on the front bumper, full hood, both front fenders, front lip, mirror caps, and headlights. The front lip was an important piece to include on this M3. It sits close to the pavement and takes hits from debris kicked up by traffic ahead.
With the film in place, we ceramic coated the painted panels, film, exterior trim, and accent pieces. We also coated the wheel faces, inner barrels, and brake calipers so brake dust would be easier to clean from both sides of the spokes.

Factory Color on Display, Protection Where It Counts
The clear film keeps the Ruby Star finish visible while giving the most exposed parts of the M3 a barrier against stone chips. The ceramic coating makes a difference at wash time, helping road grime release from the body and brake dust come off the wheels and calipers.
